E-session fun with Nick & Michelle!

Thursday February 28th Part 2

After we finished our shoot at Ponte Winery in Temecula, we headed down to El Cajon to meet Michelle and Nick for their engagement session. We had a feeling this was going to be a fun one, but had no idea it was going to be this much fun!

We always like to suggest that our engagement sessions have our couples doing what they love best and something that really reflects who they are.

 

By day Nick is an IT guy… Michelle, a budget analyst, by night…..LOOK OUT …..these two are a ton of fun!

We met at Parkway Bowl in El Cajon, Nick & Michelle bowl there all the time and were able to arrange getting the Cosmic Room just for all of us and their shoot.

 

We had music, blacklights and the run of the alleys…. let the games begin! Whoooo ya!

After awhile we decided to step the fun a bit more and headed over to the arcade next door…..

 Thanks so much Michelle and Nick, we had an amazing time! Too much fun! We can’t wait for your wedding!

 Thursday February 28th
We started out our day with a beautiful drive out to Ponte Winery in Temecula.

  Michael Cartwright from CAKE the on-line newsletter, and his wife Karon who is in charge of the weddings at Ponte, and Ragan Erickson asked us to come up and do a few shots in Pontes’ beautiful barrel room.

Our model bride for the session was Sara, who when not modeling also works at Ponte. Sara did an amazing job for us and looked absolutely stunning! Sara had her hair done for the shoot by Cassie Church of Salon Twenty Nine in Temecula. Sara’s beautiful cathedral length veil was provided by Belle Mariee.  - info@bellemarieebridal.com

Los Willows, WOW! How you have changed!

Sunday we were out at Los Willows for their preferred vendor Bridal workshop, and got to see firsthand all of the upgrades and changes that were made. OMG…. It is BEAUTIFUL! I was able to sneak out of the show on a break and get a few quick shots of the upgrades.

The wedding gazebo has been completely remodeled with an added wedding bell that will ring when you are pronounced man and wife…

The ceremony gazebo will now also be where the cake will be placed for the cake cutting. The original cake gazebo is now down by the lake and will be an amazing background for some bride & groom alone shots.

This is the view from the ceremony gazebo. Here is the brand new patio area with built in bar, fireplace and seating. This is directly across from the reception pavilion.

Our first wedding  since the changes is just a few weeks away, and we cant’ wait to put all of these new additions into pictures! 

Helena & Erik’s Engagement session

Meet Helena & Erik!

Friday afternoon we were so excited to get away from the computer and out into Balboa Park to do Helena & Eriks’ engagement session. The weather was beautiful! Such a great change from all of the gloomy rain we have been having. Being a solar powered person, I was lovin it!

We met Helena & Eirk last year when we did Helena’s sisters Senior pictures out at the beach, and were so thrilled when they asked us to shoot their wedding. Helena looked amazing! I loved her little black cocktail dress.. and those shoes! Wow!

Helena & Erik brought along their dog Norman, he is a sweetheart but we hard a really hard time being more interesting than all of the smells in the park Who can compete with the smell of squirrel???
