Tuesday Sept. 30th
Yesterday had to be the longest day of my life! Wes had his surgery and the time dragged on so long all day. I dropped him off at 8:30am and then got myself a Vente Peppermint Mocha and glued my butt to the chair here planning to just work the day away editing and filling orders. Usually the time flies by here, but yesterday it dragged on and on and on. I even covered up all of the clocks in the house with post it’s so I couldn’t see the time. Finally at 3:45 they called to let us know he was out of surgery and everything went well. At 4:45 we got to pick him up.
What I wasn’t prepared for was how out of it he still was from the drugs… he was worse than a drunken sailor. He couldn’t even walk and was really kind of freaked out about everything. He was looking around wildly trying to focus on things and whining like he was being beaten. We put him in the back of the Durango and then Skip drove home while I laid in the back holding him.
IMO, they should never release pets until they are fully out of the anesthesia.
All is good now, after he got his fill of food and water this morning he is a happy camper once again. We have 14 days of heavy monitoring to do on him until all of the stitches come out, and we have to carry all 60 pounds of him up and down the stairs for the next 14 days… but our little guy is home, the lump is off, and we couldn’t be happier.
Did you know… Dalmatians are not only spotted on their fur, but on their skin too? Yup… they are all pink with black spots! And they look a little silly without that fur… shhhhhhhh!
Today Skip and I were back to the basics, just the two of us, no assistants and the most amazing private residence wedding ever, we were really looking forward to this one!

Us at Christmas ;o)
Today we were back with Ila and DJ, this time for their Western ceremony. After the day before at their Hindu Ceremony Saturday (see below) I didn’t think Ila could look any more amazing, but in her traditional American Gown, she was stunning!

Ila and DJ, we all thank you so much for choosing us to share in these two ceremonies and capture the memories, it was an honor and a privledge working with you both!

The added fun of a beach wedding.. everyone wants to get in on the act! ;o)

We were so touched by this… we had our own personalized table card with our name.. and a special Katy and Jeff wine cork! Thank you guys!

These two know how to PAR-TAY!
