Sunday December 28th

Today Skip and I took a break from our Closed for the Holiday’s Vacation” to go up to UC Irvine for Morgan and Sean’s Engagement session.

Morgan and Sean both went to UC Irvine and thought that would be the perfect place for their session, we thought so too especially when we heard that was where Sean proposed… tooo romantic!

Morgan and Sean are getting married in August at one of our favorite venues, Los Willows! We can’t wait for the wedding day!

Didn’t have time to get him what he really wanted for Christmas? December 21, 2008

Hard to believe with Christmas presents still to wrap, but Valentines Day is right around the corner, and what better Holiday to celebrate with the gift of…. you… than Valentines Day!

Happy Holidays! December 17, 2008

It has been an amazing seasonand Skip and I are so very grateful to see how Shadowcatcher has grown over the years!

We have grown from it being just the two of us in 2004, and only one of us being full time, to a staff of four plus both of us full time for 2009! We have now also really beefed up what we have to offer our clients in the way of Family, Baby and Mommy to be portraits, Boudoir and Pin-up, Trash The Dress Sessions.

We are rockin it all in our Classic Style with a cutting edge!

brittany’s boudoir sneak peek….. December 9, 2008

Monday December 8th

Still super busy here racing against the clock to get “Surprise” Boudoir sessions done in time for Christmas!

Today I had the best time working with Brittany doing a super sexy boudoir session at her house. Brittany’s house had some really terrific spots for the shoot, and we had an amazing time capturing her oh la la side! ;o)

Time has just about run out to do a boudoir session for Christmas… but  my calendar is booking fast for Valentines Day sessions.  If you are considering one of these special all about you sessions, call me soon to reserve your space. I am now booking Valentines sessions the 2-4th week in January.

Amanda’s sneak peek Boudoir session December 2, 2008

Monday December 1st.

Today I had a great time hanging out with Amanda and one of our Shadowcatcher alum brides Patricia!

Amanda was a bridesmaid in Patricia’s wedding earlier this summer and contacted me about doing one of our Boudoir sessions as a surprise Christmas gift for her hubby. I think he is going to LOVE this surprise! Amanda really rocked this session! I was able to capture a great variety of looks for her using different rooms in Patricia’s house. I love doing these sessions in homes, they have such a great look!

I am also leaving 3 weeks open on my calendar to schedule sessions for Valentines Day. All sessions must be completed by  January 22nd to ensure Valentines Day delivery on our “For His Eyes Only” album.

from engagement session to wedding to…….baby! December 2, 2008

One of the really wonderful parts of our job is the friendships we make, and how we get to still be a part of all of the wonderful milestones in our clients lives!

If you are an avid Shadowcatcher Blog follower, you may remember Brenna and Julien from past blogs. We did their engagement session, wedding, a trash the dress session and now………. some pregnancy shots aka… Belly Shots! Brenna and Julien are expecting little Ashton in January and I just can’t wait to do some baby pictures.

With weddings slowing down for the year, it’s really fun to have some time do do sessions like this, and I was super excited to have some time to do this session Sunday!

You don’t need to be one of our past brides and grooms to do a session like this. If you would like to create some beautiful, Baby’s first photos, please send us an email for more information. All of these sessions can be done in the privacy and comfort of your home, and are done by a female photographer… me! ;o)
