Oh.. rain rain go away.. it’s Kaitlin and Craig’s Wedding Day!
Rain however on your wedding day is thought to be a very good sign… it can signify unity. The rationale behind this stems from the reference to marriage as “tying the knot.” It is no secret that a wet knot is much harder to pull apart than a dry one, as the water makes it harder to untie. Therefore if it rains when you are “tying the knot” it suggests unity, and the creation of a stronger bond that will not easily be broken.
We started off the day with high hope of making it through the family and Bride and Groom photos after the ceremony before the rain started, but Mom Nature had another plan. About 5 minutes before ceremony start time it hit. We had a few breaks in the day that we were able to get out, but when it hit… it H I T, our Shadowcatcher team did get a bit drenched by the time the day was done. Even though we danced around the raindrops all day, we feel we were able to still capture some beautiful images from the day. Here are some of our faves……
Our handsome Groom Craig!
Our beautiful bride Kaitlin!
Oh these bridesmaids were FREEZING! Nice job ladies!
Our ring bearer Bonnie! So cute!
