Laura and Jason became Mr. and Mrs. Ferguson today in a beautiful ceremony performed by Jason’s childhood pastor. What a moving interactive ceremony! There was even a cute little house filled with dogs and children to represent their future life together.
The day was absolutely perfect! Filled with family and friends… here are a few of our faves from the day…..
Congratulations again Laura and Jason!

Some couples plan thier weddings for a year or more… others… in no time at all ;o)
Meet Melinda and Mike! Melinda and Mike just booked with us last week for their 2-12 wedding. With not much time to get their engagement session scheduled and done, we jumped right in and were so thankful for a beautiful day to do it!
Mike who works as an elephant trainer at the San Diego Zoo… ok, so yes, there is a job that sounds more fun than mine… popped the question at Christmas and then wedding plans went into fast forward mode for the wedding.
Mike and Melinda brought along some great props to work with on their session and we had a great time working with them around Coronado.
Here are a few of our faves from the session……
M&M’s = Mike & Melinda ;o)
Packer Fans!
We had the best time working with this couple and can’t wait for the wedding day!

For those of you who know me well, you know it’s not often I am at a loss for words, quite the opposite. This experience in my life has touched me in such a way it has me searching for the words to accurately bring the right words to tell this story.
Earlier last year, we were asked by the owners of Los Willows, Cathie and Al Ransom if we would like to participate in giving a wounded warrior and his fiance the wedding of their dreams. After hearing their story and all they had been through, we were so happy to be able to offer our services in any way that we could.
On Thursday December 1st we began our photographic journey with Lance Corporal Josue Barron and his fiance Debbie with a vintagy feeling homecoming re-creation at the Flying Leatherneck museum in San Diego.
Here is the link to that Blog post if you missed it….
Debbie and Josue never really got to experience the homecoming and this was a great opportunity for them to have a little of that feeling. It also gave us a great opportunity to get to know these two a little more before their big day. Our local paper picked up on this story and ran an article with all of the details of their story. If you would like to read more about this brave marine and read about what happened to him please follow this link….. - http://www.nctimes.com/news/local/fallbrook/region-fantasy-wedding-set-for-injured-marine-and-his-bride/article_1ba0c337-29fd-5682-8bf3-ed38a5fa659e.html#ixzz1iKaqK68F
Fast forward to the wedding day….. Los Willows, together with an extraordinary team of wedding vendors and friends including us at Shadowcatcher Imagery, pulled together a dream wedding for this fabulous couple valued at near $50,ooo. Our fellow vendors were….. Los Willows, Ranch Event caterers, Pro Sound DJ’s, Shadow Boudoir, Blooming Grace Floral, Black Tie Productions, Marqui Artistry and My Picture Booth. I don’t want to leave out the amazing ladies behind the scenes in the office at Los Willows who I know put so much into this…. Liza, Kendra, Nicole, Shelly, Maneesha, you ladies ROCK! And Bobby…. who performed the service…. yeah! So many people pulled together to make this event such a success we are proud to be a part of such an amazing group!
When we arrived at Los Willows the day of the wedding, we met Mark “Coach” Soto… what an amazing man! Mark is very involved with trying to maintain focus and attention on wounded veterans. As part of this he had been following Josue and Debbie’s remarkable story from the beginning. If you have a minute, please check out The Day Remembered at http://www.thedayremembered.org/
On to the wedding images! Los Willows never looked more beautiful! The rain stayed away….. it wouldn’t have dared rain on this day!
Since a picture is worth a thousand words I am going to continue now with the images that we feel captured all the special moments of the day…..
Our handsome Groom- Lance Corporal Josue Barron and his groomsmen!
Colonel Al Ransom, one of the owners of Los Willows with Josue.
Our bride Debbie with her Dad in the brides room right before she made her way down the aisle.
At Los Willows the bride is chauffeured from her room in a Rolls Royce to the back of the property where a beautiful boat awaits to carry her across the lake making for a most dramatic entrance!
Josue and his Mom entering the ceremony.
Debbie’s entrance as the music played Ave Maria gave you goosebumps!
A champagne cruise around the lake for the new Mr. and Mrs.
Doesn’t she look FABULOUS!
A cathedral veil is always so great for photos!
What better way to invite your guests in for the reception than with a flash mob of Los Willows dancers showing you the way!
The first dance.
The perfect setting for a little alone time.
An amazing group of Debbie and Josue’s friends from the 3/5
WOW!
Congratulations again Debbie and Josue, we too feel that you are so much more than just “clients” you have touched our hearts and opened our eyes!
Love you guys, and wishing you both the best. We have seen nothing can ever stand in your way!
